Summer Slim Down

Summer is here in full force. Have you wanted to slim down, but don't know where to start?

Follow these simple steps and watch the pounds melt away.

1. Organize your kitchen

2. Make a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu

3. Eat simple, yet balanced meals.

Ex. Yogurt Smoothie: Plain or Vanilla yogurt, mixed berries, 1/2 banana, almonds

Ex. Salad: Mixed greens, 1 hard boiled egg, sunflower seeds, colorful veggies

Ex. Wrap: Grilled meat or hummus with sprouts, mixed greens/veggies and feta cheese

4. Cut out sugar 6 out of 7 days (cake, cookies, bread, tortillas, chips, white potatoes, rice)

5. Eat 3-5 servings of raw veggies and fruits every day

6. Eat lean meat, fish, and/or poultry

7. Do not have junk food in the house

8. Walk or jog 20 minutes a day

9. Drink water between meals (at least 4 8oz glasses)

10. Think positive and believe in yourself!
